The utility model relates to a distillation kettle used in chemical production. It is mainly designed to solve the problem that the existing distillation kettle needs intermittent maintenance and cleaning when the material contains solids and high boiling point substances in the production process.

The function of the distillation kettle is to vaporize the distilled liquid and provide the necessary amount of rising steam in the tower.

The types of distillation kettle are jacket type, snake tube type and row tube type, as shown in the right figure. Because of the small heating area, jacket type and snake tube type are mostly used in small-scale production, while tubular distillation kettle is mostly used in large-scale production.

In a small distillation column, the distillation kettle can be directly located at the bottom of the tower. The volume of the kettle can account for 85%-80% of the volume of the kettle. The lower limit is taken for the materials that are easy to foam, and the upper limit is taken for the materials that are not easy to foam. The volume of distillation kettle is generally about 1000-2500L. In order to avoid excessive liquid entrapped in the rising steam, the distance of the bottom tray in the kettle is at least 0.5-0.7m.

The distillation kettle of large crack tower is often located outside the tower and connected with the bottom of the tower by pipeline, which is called reboiler at this time.

The distillation kettle is usually heated indirectly, and the heater is usually saturated water vapor with a certain pressure. The heating temperature can be adjusted by changing the steam pressure, which makes the operation more convenient and safe. When the heating temperature is very high, there are also organic carriers with high boiling point for heating or electric heating.

The principle of distilling kettle is to vaporize the fraction needed by heating according to the boiling point of distillate, and then to complete distillation by condensation.

It includes the shell of distillation kettle, which has an upper head above the shell, a gas outlet on the top head, a defoamer below the top head, a storage chamber below the defoamer, a feed inlet at the top of the storage chamber, an evaporator in the room, a settling chamber for solid and high boiling point substances at the bottom of the distillation kettle, an agitator in the settling chamber, and an agitator shaft connected with an external motor through the shaft seal. The bottom of the distillation kettle is provided with solid and high boiling point discharge outlets. The advantages are that solid and high boiling point substances can be discharged at any time without interruptive maintenance and cleaning to ensure continuous production.
